About Us
AnimeUSA is pleased to begin our 9th year at a new location, the Hyatt Regency at Crystal City.
We'd like to thank everyone who made our 2006 convention a success. To our staff, volunteers, guests, industry, dealers, artists, participants, advertisers, sponsors, and especially our 3482 members...Thank You!
Our Background
In 1999 AnimeUSA began as a northern Virginia convention, started by fans, and in 2004 become a non-profit educational organization. Our mission is to educate the public about and promote Japanese arts and popular culture. Just as in the beginning, we remain a convention of fans, by fans, and for fans.
